Getting started with English Paper Piecing

Learn to prepare, cut, stitch, and finish four small projects in this EPP class designed for the beginner.  We will learn to follow a pattern, make our cutting templates, fussy cut fabrics for effect, stitch the designs together, and finish our projects by hand or machine. The little bibs and bobs included in the pattern are great for the beginner and confident beginner alike.  You will have usable “finishes” when you are finished.

Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: Beginner- intermediate are welcome. This workshop is for anyone wanting to learn English paper piecing to those who want to pick up new tips.
Materials Included: Starter kit and pattern.
Requirements: You will be emailed a supply list once you have registered.
Instructor: Mary Jones
Instructor Bio: Mary is a retired teacher who has been piecing and quilting for 25 years and brings a long list of sewing skills as well as experience as an educator to the class. She designs and writes patterns of her own and tests and edits patterns for other designers. Her experiences are varied and many. Mary has a true love of all things quilty!
